Higher broadband speed at a fraction of the cost – Telecom Independence promotion

With a view on the 30th anniversary of Independence, Telecom Namibia announced a broadband promotion that offers 50% more connectivity for a fraction of the normal price.

Telecom’s Independence promo entails an upgrade for existing customers of their Speedlink broadband internet connection from 4 Mbps to 6 Mbps for only N$30 extra per month. The offer is valid until the end of March 2020.

Head of Corporate Communication and Public Relations, Nomvula Kondombolo-Kambinda said this upgrade opportunity reaffirms their commitment to connect the country at world-class speeds. This exceeds the broadband minimum speed set by the national broadband policy.

“In today’s technology-driven world, access to affordable high-speed internet is essential to staying abreast of developments in the world, fostering relations across the borders, building and sustaining economies, and supporting our daily livelihood,” said Telecom’s acting Chief Executive, Armando Perny.
