30 years of Namibian music

HitRadio Namibia has teamed up with EES a local musician, to compile a special limited edition, with, the very best of 30 years Namibian Music audio CD.

This project aims to unite Namibian musicians and promote local music on an international platform.

The Team has hand picked a selection of well known local artist, who have made an impact in the Namibian music industry over the last three decades.

“The album features the likes of PDK, Matongo Family, EES, Oteya, Lady May, Qonja, Blossom, Sally Boss Madam and Exit & Mushe, with veteran musicians like Ras Sheehama, Big Ben, Penilane and Hishishi Papa, and upcoming starts like Masanga, Amazonkies and House Guru Gang,” they added.

They explained that this combination of artist has never been seen on a compilation before and the Album is a limited edition CD, which was produced using no plastic for the cover, but only thick paper to make it more eco-friendly. “For everybody interested in getting a copy of this limited edition masterpiece and have it playing during the indpendece celebrations, you can buy it at the Craft Center, Windhoek Buchhandlung, Wecke & Voigts, Made in Namibia Shop or online at www.eesy-ees.co/shop,” they added.
