IUM invests in ITS Integrator

The International University Management of Namibia (IUM) has purchased ITS Integrator for streamlining processes related to Student Management and Student Financial Management as well as invested in CELCAT Timetabler products for examination and class timetable generation. The products and software were provided by ITS Tertiary Software, an independent technology solutions and services company and member of the Adapt IT Group of Companies.
The International University of Management (IUM) currently caters for more than 7,500 students, with its main campus in Windhoek and branches in Swakopmund, Ongwediva and Walvis Bay. IUM is Namibia’s first and, currently, only private university.
“In 2012, the University celebrated its 10th anniversary; a milestone marking a decade of consistently rapid growth. This has necessitated an improvement in our management and administration processes, which could only be driven and supported by tools such as ITS Integrator and CELCAT Timetabler. These products are proven to be successful and an excellent fit for our institution’s unique business challenges,” says Kumbi Short, a consultant at IUM. “Further to this, the increase in the student population and the expansion of academic programs makes it no longer viable to use systems that are designed for smaller colleges.”
