A time of cheer

This is the season to be jolly and people are barraged by the sight, sound and smell of Christmas. Outlets are also doing their best to entice shoppers and the sight of Christmas decorations at most outlets across town has firmly placed most people in the festive mood. And this year, the Christmas tree at Kalahari Sands Hotel and Casino has attracted more people than ever who wants a photo op with Santa Claus. Children also couldn’t wait to place their gift orders with Santa, with some demanding cellphones, bicycles and even pets. Jorries Eitabeb (second from left) was spotted posing at the Christmas tree in Kalahari Sands with Jeroutine Rooinasie, Siswe Glaas and Jorrien Kitabeb.
