Inspiring young minds to choose the best

A regular highlight on the annual schools calendar is the Sanlam Career Expo where learners are invited to find out what the future offers. For this week’s Career Expo, more than 90 speakers from various industries, companies and institutions gathered at the Windhoek Country Club to impart career advice to learners in grade 10 and 12 from dozens of schools in and around Windhoek. The Sanlam Career Expo provides a fun outing for learners yet it is an event that covers very serious business over the course of three days. Learners are exposed to a myriad of careers as well as study and training opportunities. Sanlam Investment Management contributed an initial N$50,000 for logistical and material support and later added another N$20,000 for transportation to ensure that children can attended the careers expo.
