Do not miss Meme Mia says FNB

Theatre audiences in Windhoek are currently being spoiled by the musical Meme Mia which is on stage at the National Theatre in Windhoek and which has so far, received rave reviews.
Lize Ehlers, one of the main actors in the play advised that “Meme Mia is basically sold out and if you haven’t bought your ticket you need to enquire at the NTN box office if there are any left.” Newspaper SMS pages received texts asking when the production will be staged in Katutura and Khomasdal and the whole of Namibia, as it has enchanted audiences since it opened on 12 April at NTN. Meme Mia, produced and directed by Sandy Rudd, marks her 30th year in theatre, with choreography by Haymich Olivier and musical direction by Jacus Krige.
“The entire Meme Mia team would like to extend a wave of gratitude to FNB and all the other sponsors for enabling this mammoth production to take place. Thank you for the music, ” said producer Rudd
Vicky Muranda of FNB said “We have, over many years, supported numerous cultural events from school plays to large musical productions such as Hart Van Windhoek. FNB has also amongst others provided the Student Prize of Excellence Award at the College of the Arts for a number of years. It was therefore with great pleasure that we became the main supporter of Meme Mia. We are extremely proud of what the crew and cast have achieved and wish to encourage all Namibians to make a concerted effort to attend the musical. You will be blown away.”
