PayPulse introduces new parking solution at Maerua Mall

Motorists doing their shopping at Maerua Mall in Windhoek will be able to pay for their parking on the phone using Standard Bank’s PayPulse application, eliminating the need to queue up at the parking machine.

To enjoy the cashless parking payment service at Maerua Mall, motorists are required to download the updated PayPulse application (version 2.0.1).

“Through this ‘pay-by-phone’ technology enabled by our PayPulse application, our customers are able to optimise the use of technology and their smart phones,” Standard Bank’s head of marketing, Magreth Mengo said.

In addition to the cashless parking payment convenience, PayPulse enables customers to perform other functions such as top-up airtime and electricity, pay bills, pay for groceries, deposit or withdraw cash without going to an ATM, send money to anyone in Namibia and pay for TV subs, amongst many others without using any data.

“Paying for parking by PayPulse will give motorists shopping at Maerua Mall a greater choice and better convenience of how to pay for their parking and expenses, such as for instances paying for parking and settling a coffee bill all at ones, using PayPulse. PayPulse also avoids the need to always have or look for loose change to pay for parking. Our customers are our biggest priority and we hope that this new innovation will help them to make shopping at Maerua Mall more pleasurable,” Mengo said.
