Experience Windhoek through a fresh new culture vibe in an old-school combi
Local Kwaito artist, EES together with Wilddog Safaris will offer a new service to boost the dynamic tourist offering in the capital.
The initiative will see people enjoy up to a 5-hour tour around Windhoek with an experienced local guide in one of EES’s own classic Old VW buses.
The NAM FLAVA City Tours will start on 1 July and will be offered on a daily basis between 10:00 and 15:00 by local tour guides. The urban roundabout includes drinks and EES’s own WUMA vitamin energy drink.
EES in a statement said next to his music his hobby has been to restore old VW buses for quite some time and he would like to share the amazing feeling of driving in his buses around town with the people, who will love it.
Wilddog Safaris owner, Liz Kirby said she is very excited to venture into this new team effort with the musician.
“We loved the idea of using the old VW combi, from day one when EES approached us and it is great if wee can bring more business to local markets, because EES has always been a great ambassador for the country. We look forward to the added Nam Flava these city tours will offer,” she said.
Meanwhile, some of the main highlights on the tour will include trips to the old Christuskirche, Single Quarters Kapana Market, National Independence Museum, the Alte Feste and Penduka Craft Market, among many other locations.
