Peugeot Citroën to partner with new investor – targets new and untapped opportunities in the region

Peugeot Citroën South Africa (Pty) Ltd who have had an existing presence in Namibia, will be partnering with a new investor which the automaker said will soon be announced, to allow for the expansion of their retail presence and target new and untapped opportunities in the region.

Xavier Gobille, Managing Director of Peugeot Citroën South Africa said that their partnership with the new investor will give them the opportunity of offering a complete range of Peugeot products and an improved level of after-sales service and maintenance.

“We value all the support of the customers that have remained loyal to the brand over the years and would like to assure them that service, repair and maintenance obligations will be honoured by the new investor,” Gobille said.

With the new deal, all supply of parts will continue as per normal while all service, repair and maintenance obligations will be carried out by Peugeot Citroën South Africa at a new alternative site.

Customers vehicles will be relocated from Peugeot Windhoek, Spes Bona at the cost of Peugeot Citroën South Africa.

According to Gobille, details in this respect will be provided directly to the customer by this Friday, 21 June.
