Businessmen play their part in fighting cancer
A group of businessmen donated N$30 000 to the Cancer Association of Namibia, to help ease the financial strain on cancer sufferers. Mark Barnard of Ricoh Namibia said that: “The Cancer Association of Namibia is an organisation that really does a lot for cancer sufferers and we have decided together to raise funds to support them. We know that they are very dependant on donations and hope that these few dollars would help.” Other businessmen who also supported this initiative are: Ben van der Merwe, Leeba Fouche, Werner Lassen and Pikkie Louw. Trevor Colmer of Elite Consulting and his team also participated in the Movember month campaign that aims to raise awareness on prostate cancer.
