REDs sell prepaid

FNB Namibia has announced that it is now also possible for FNB customers to purchase pre-paid electricity from CenoRED and Erongo RED by using FNB Namibia cell phone banking. Windhoek residents have been able to purchase pre-paid electricity from the City of Windhoek since February last year and now the coast and north have been added.   Desery Van Wyk, Manager Cellphone Banking said: “We are proud that our coastal and northern customers can also start enjoying convenient, affordable and safer option for purchasing prepaid electricity from the safety and security of their own homes.  All you need is a qualifying FNB transactional account, such as a Lifestyle account, CardWise, BankWise, BusinessWise, or similar account, be registered for FNB CellPhone Banking and your electricity meter number.  Best of all, this service is currently free of any bank charges and only the cellphone network fees apply,” she said.
