Pirouette in USA

Michelle Koen, a student in Grade 3 at St George’s Diocesan Preparatory School in Windhoek, did extremely well at the recent Namibian Championships of Performing Arts 2013. Not only was she the winner of the U/10 Gold Medal for Dance, but she also won the Trophy: Dance for all Ages and The Award of Excellence. She is a student of the Windhoek Rhythmic Club and her instructor is Ms Wietsa Snyman. Michelle is a member of Team Namibia and she will represent Namibia at the upcoming World Championships in July this year, in Los Angeles.
