New Rocky Crest complex

Construction of an amusement and recreation park to be located in Rocky Crest will soon commence once approved by City of Windhoek.
Street house Properties closed corporation submitted an application to purchase a portion of land for an amusement and recreational park. The amusement and recreational park, a first of its kind in Windhoek and Namibia, will uplift a previously undeveloped area by enhancing the natural beauty of the surrounding area of Rocky Crest and at the same time attract more tourists to stay longer in the capital rather than using Windhoek as a transit to stop before visiting other towns of the country.
The park is envisaged to have two phases, with phase one estimated to cost N$40 million and phase two a total of N$ 20 million. The upset price of N$ 9712 000, inclusive vat, for the first phase has already been approved and will include a go cart track, water area for wave pool as well as a sports area amongst other facilities.
As customary, a residential component will be based at the park and will provide at least 100 jobs to the local community.
