Local organisations promote wildlife conservation programmes at Dallas Expo
More than 30 local organisations under the Namibian Professional Hunters Association (NAPHA) are exhibiting at the 2019 Dallas Safari Club Convention and Sporting Expo which started this week, in Dallas, Texas, USA.
Minister of Environment and Tourism, Hon. Pohamba Shifeta, had the opportunity to visit various stands at the Expo where he interacted with professional hunters and outfitters from Namibia and other countries.
According to a statement released, the event is an opportunity for the ministry to promote wildlife conservation and discuss possible partnership to support conservation programmes in the country.
