The soulful Floritha joins other singing sensations at the Playhouse Theatre on Saturday.

Last year the stage and airwaves were set ablaze by three Namibian singing sensations. This year is said to be no different. Sally, and newbies Miss H and Floritha will wow the crowd in a cocktail of music as each singer brings in her own type of music. The show takes place this Saturday, 02 March, at the Playhouse Theatre in the Old Breweries.
Twenty three-year old Heather Dennis, also known as Miss H., is already well-known to local music lovers. This young singer and songwriter whose voice has been compared to the likes of Tracy Chapman and Macy Gray experiments with folk, reggae, blues and hip hop. She names Brenda Fassie, Hugh Masekela and Miriam Makeba as her main African influences.
Floritha comes from a family of singers. She started singing at the age of six with her brothers and sisters. The gorgeous second year law student launched her debut album titled ‘’I owe it all to you” late last year and the artist has since gained in popularity.
Sally’s album, Madam Boss, has earned her a place as a contender for the Female Artist of the Year 2013. Her single ‘Litulamo’ has been rocking the airwaves and is said to capture RnB, Afro-pop and house music in one package. She brings her electrifying performance to the stage. Her other single ‘Boos Madam’ has hit, not only Namibian airwaves but African airwaves too. Last year this single reached Nigerian airwaves and earned a spot on the MTN Africa Chart.
This is not only an old meets new type of show, but also three talented and soulful ladies coming together to perform and guarantee an unmissable show. A rocker, a soulful singer and a hopper performing on one stage, now is that not a must-see.
Tickets are N$40. Doors open at 19 00.
