Proud of road block?

Dear Editor
The new road block at Kapps Farm is impressive to say the least. It creates a good impression of what can be expected ahead in the capital city of Namibia. It says we are an industrious and prosperous nation.
My wish is that the policemen and –women as well as the officials of customs and excise who man this grand road block, will do this first impression of Windhoek proud.
I hope they will act as ambassadors to our nation and be friendly, courteous and show some enthusiasm for their very important task. They are not only there to police the traffic but to represent our progressive nation. And of course this goes for every road block in the country.
