FNB’s Norval new vice chairman at Team Namibia
Norval said “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to make a difference at Team Namibia in my new position as Vice-Chairperson. With the national emphasis on trade, particularly in relation to NDP4 goals, Team Namibia’s focus remains on making a positive impact on economic sustainability. Our goal for the next two years is to identify more opportunities for encouraging competitive standards for local products and services to stimulate increased consumer confidence in Namibia.”
The Namib Mills representative on the Team Namibia Board has also changed face. This position is now held by Megan Zondagh, Marketing Manager of Namib Mills. Ms. Zondagh holds a National Diploma in Public Relations and Communication, and brings six years’ experience with a market leader in international brands.
Zondagh said: “I am excited about the tremendous potential that exists in both the national and international markets for Namibian companies, and look forward to driving Team Namibia forward and supporting its initiatives at Board level to make the brand more recognisable in the marketplace”.
Meanwhile, Team Namibia announced the new members who joined recently. They are Bizjar International, Brain-Child Technologies, Emergo Communications, Engineering Centre, Gateway Industries, Meike’s Guesthouse, Pitbull Tow-In Services, Peace Jewellery Collection and Soil Engineer.
Team Namibia is a non-profit organisation founded in 2003 that supports its members to promote their products and services as Namibian.
