Icon trains future leaders

Nangula-OMIn her first public appearance since winning the coveted Businesswoman of the Year Award, Nangula Uaandja, managing director of PricewaterhouseCoopers, wowed women with her vast knowledge on leadership and business. Uaandja imparted her knowledge at the well attended Old Mutual Women’s Summit held last week. The summit, the first of its kind, was held under the theme, ‘If you can dream it, you can achieve it’ and focused on capacity building. Uaandja is a firm believer in the empowerment of women. “[During my time of reign I want to] attract and train more leaders at the African Leadership Institute and to spend sufficient time educating more young people, especially women and empower them to believe in themselves, their God given abilities and utilise them for the benefit of all Namibians,” she recently told the Economist.
