Amanda Aston was recently selected as the winner of the Gondwana Card competition. For winning the grand prize, Aston walked away with a voucher for a 25 nights stay at any of the lodges of the Gondwana Collection.
The prize includes breakfast and dinner valued at N$ 22,500.
Gondwana asked participants on which day in November the 25252 Gondwana Card would be issued. It turned out to be on 15 November. A total of 849 Gondwana Card holders entered the competition; 40 guessed the correct date and took part in the final draw and lady luck smiled on Amanda Aston.
To enter the competition, which was a thank-you to all Gondwana Card holders, one had to submit their Gondwana Card number. The Gondwana Card entitles Namibians to a 50% discount on regular prices while SADC citizens pay 60% at any Gondwana lodge.

Gondwana’s lodges can be found all over the country: on the Kwando River in Caprivi, near Rundu on the Okavango, next to Etosha, close to Khorixas (Twyfelfontein), north of Sesriem/Sossusvlei, near Stampriet in the Kalahari, in the vicinity of the wild horses and Kolmanskuppe as well as at the Fish River Canyon.
The card was first introduced in February 2007. For further information and to apply for the card visit www.gondwana-card.com.
