Best performers in the ever-growing O&L stable

Olthaver and List awards opertaing companies at glittering 12 Seasons gala dinner

The Ohlthaver and List (O&L) Group of Companies celebrated the achievements of their operating companies at its annual 12 Seasons Award ceremony last week Friday.  This event is a culmination of hard work, persistence and dedication as the best of the best are recognised and thanked for their successes.
Sven Thieme, Executive Chairman of the O&L Group of Companies thanked the O&L Group executive team and their spouses and partners, as well as the entire O&L workforce, for the on-going support, hard work and dedication throughout the year.  “It has not been an easy year and a number of operating companies faced challenges. Through perseverance, however, we managed to overcome numerous hurdles and can look back at a successful year.”
Thieme also wished the O&L Group and the rest of Namibia a happy and safe festive season and reiterated the importance of drinking responsibly especially during the festive holidays.  “I urge us all to refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol”, Thieme said.
During the evening, awards were handed out in the categories of financial performance; creating excellent trust relationships with customers; operational excellence; best company to work for; other significant achievements; and overall best performing operating company.
The overall winning companies in the various categories are: Best Performing Operating Company – O&L Centre; Best Company To Work For – Hangana Seafood, Financial Performance – Namibia Breweries, Operational Excellence – O&L Centre, Creating Excellent Trust Relationships with Customers – Namibia Breweries, Other Significant Achievements – O&L Centre.
