Merry lights go on

The newly elected Deputy Mayor of Windhoek, Muesee Kazapua and paralympic gold medalist, Johanna Benson this week switched on the City Christmas lights along Independence Avenue.  The switching on of these lights has become a significant occasion in Windhoek and is done annually to mark the start of the Festive Season.
