Talented ex-SKW player, Olaf Beiter is said to be doing well at the German Club, SC Borea Desden.
Fourteen-year-old Olaf was promoted to the club’s U/16 side a few weeks ago. He was spotted by his club when he was on trials with the famous Hoffenheim club in May this year ,and officially left for the club’s base in August.
The youngster has overnight turned himself into a key player at SC Borea Desden. He was voted into the players committee of the club two months ago and is also doing well at school.
Olaf said the cold weather is disrupting the different youth leagues, but he is fortunate as he is currently playing for both the U/14 and U/16 teams. “The U/16 team plays on Saturdays where I get short stints of playing time, while Sundays I play the full 90 minutes for the U/14 team,” he says.
The left footed youngster, who joined the SKW Football Academy in 2008 before leaving for Germany, will be in the country for ten days over the Christmas period.
