Hardware, outdoors and lifestyle dealer, Cymot was honoured a fortnight ago for their proven track record in the supply of Personal Protection Equipment, by a German industry body.

Cymot Chief Executive, Axel Theissen received the 3M CEEMEA award on behalf of his company in DĂĽsseldorf, Germany, at the A+A safety convention held in the second half of October.

The 3M CEEMEA award recognises Cymot’s leading role in overall innovation and as growth partner among more than 58 companies in 37 countries worldwide.

“It is definitely a huge milestone to achieve this award as a testimony to the leaps Cymot has taken to supply Namibia with only the best PPE products from around the world. We are extremely proud of this achievement and would like to thank every one of our customers and 3M Global for their loyal support” said Penda Ickua, Cymot’s Manager for Personal Protective Equipment.

Cymot, founded in 1948, said it is a leading supplier of quality products through a network of branches in Namibia and Angola. Cymot is part-owned by private equity investor, Stimulus Investments Ltd.

“We pride ourselves that our trained staff offers superior customer care and go the extra mile in advising and assisting the customer to choose from a variety of quality products,” said Theissen.
