Oshakati festivities welcome short-term insurer to new market

The usually rural Oshakati exploded last week Friday when Hollard insurance company invaded the town with an abundance of purple to make sure every resident gets the message: Hollard Namibia now also sells affordable insurance in the North!

On 27 October 2017, a lot of buzz erupted in Oshakati when the town got painted purple, as Hollard officially opened its new branch!

“This short-term insurance office loffers all the perks that Namibians have come to expect from Hollard, including our world class tailor made products specifically created to suite our country and its people,” the insurer stated at the official opening.

This is a giant leap for Hollard, with established branches from Rundu to Keetmanshoop, and it marks the beginning of a fantastic new endeavor into parts of Namibia that will surely offer its own unique set of product needs, challenges that we welcome as a company,” said Hollard Namibia’s Chief Executive, Jaco Lamprecht.

Oshakati Mayor, His Worship Angelus Iiyambo did the honours, welcoming the guests and delivering the keynote address. The Mayor emphasized that the Oshakati and its residents will benefit directly through the insurance offered by Hollard and indirectly through the economic contribution to the town’s business activities.

“Taking into consideration the demographics of the North, it was decided that Oshakati would be the ideal location for the new office, as it would be able to reach the most people possible in and around the area. It will offer all the insurance products currently part of the Hollard product range such as Funeral Cover, Personal as well as Business Insurance, ensuring that the north of Namibia is insured in the best possible way, by the best possible people” said the designated branch manager, PG Louw.

“Hollard prides itself on delivering unmatched service quality within the insurance industry in Namibia, and will continue to do so at our new Oshakati branch. With dedicated staff at the helm, our approach to our customers has and always will be handled with utmost respect and diligence, ensuring that when you walk through those doors, you automatically know that you are in capable hands,’ he continued.

“We are proud to be part of the legendary vibrancy of the North, as well as the beautiful cultures that only Namibia can offer, and hope that we can actively play a part in the growth and prosperity of local industries, as well as enriching the livelihoods of Namibians who call the North their home. And so it is with an enormous sense of pride that we say “hello Oshakati, Hollard has arrived” quipped Chief Executive Lamprecht.
