Slaughter Cattle Delivery Agreements to commence in November

Meat Corporation of Namibia (Meatco) announced that as of 1 to 30 November 2017, its producers can sign Slaughter Cattle Delivery Agreements for the first period of 2018, or for the whole year.

Producers can sign for the first period that stretches from January to March 2018 and Meatco added that producers who sign delivery agreements with them qualify for the N$2.50 contract premium.

“If a producer is out of the country and unable to sign an agreement, they can contact us via e-mail and we will gladly assist him/her in signing delivery agreements by proxy,” said Meatco’s Livestock Coordinator: Abattoirs Louise Vermeulen.

Meanwhile, Meatco is thankful to producers for their cooperation in honouring Slaughter Cattle Delivery Agreements and for meeting the requirements as stipulated in the contract.
