Elemotho to hold workshop for potential festival enthusiasts

Famous local and global artist Elemotho will be hold a workshop on art festivals on 14 September from 09:00 to 11:00 at the FNCC,

Entrance is free of charge and the event will be held in partnership with the National Arts Council.

The artist will share his experience and know how on getting into festivals, with information such as how to apply and what routes to take.

Elemotho’s workshop aims to assist local artists in getting access to new opportunities. Therefore participants should expect a session regarding informed decision-making and insights in the music industry, by Elemotho himself, who is coming fresh from an intensive Beautiful World Tour of more than 8 countries in 3 months.

Elemotho composes, records and performs his own music and plays acoustic guitar as well as sings in his mother-tongue Setwana, English and other Namibian languages.

From solo performances to playing with his band his is a jack of all trades, with a sound that is solid yet transparent, with messages that create a utopia through music.

He carries his music with a touch of rhythms from the Kalahari Desert, mixed with ethnic and global sounds and is considered one of the top acts in Namibia.
