MCA makes three
The Millennium Challenge Account Namibia (MCA) celebrated its third anniversary earlier this month. The MCA with its headquarters in Windhoek is funded by the US government to the amount of US$304.5 million (N$2.5 billion) in the sectors of education, agriculture and tourism. “We are on target and I am very proud of this efficient team of professionals doing everything to reach our goal, namely reducing poverty through economic growth. Happy Birthday!” said MCA Namibia CEO, Penny Akwenye, before cutting a birthday cake featuring the organisation’s logo for her staff members.
