Sexiest Ford after F250

The new kuga is not only stylish but caters for the day-to-day needs of its drivers.Ford’s product portfolio is expanding again – and in another direction. The new Ford Kuga is an exciting All-wheel Drive (AWD) crossover that combines style with technology and promises impressive on-road dynamics coupled with substantial off-road ability.
“The Kuga is a stylish and exciting proposition for customers,” says Ford marketing manager, Gavin Golightly. “Not only does it look good and promise a rewarding driving experience but it offers exceptional practicality and comfort too.”
The Kuga boasts an intelligent AWD system for those who want to use it cross country while Ford’s acclaimed driving dynamics and excellent steering performance ensure conventional passenger car-like handling.
The intelligent AWD system uses an ‘on demand’ rear-wheel-drive system. The electronically controlled intelligent AWD system transmits as much torque to the rear wheels as needed to ensure the best traction under all possible cornering and accelerating conditions, while being careful to avoid a negative impact on the fuel consumption.
“Ford prides itself on creating dynamic and fun-to-drive vehicles and the Kuga is no different. Engineers focused strongly on ensuring the Kuga offers a rewarding drive on road while still being able to rough it when conditions demand,” adds Golightly.
The Kuga will be available with a 2.5-litre Duratec Turbo petrol engine as well as a Durashift 5-tronic automatic transmission. With a maximum power output of 147kW at 6000rpm and a linear torque peak of 320 Nm being available from 1600 up to 4000rpm, the vehicle reaches a top speed of 202 km/h. The Kuga delivers a combined fuel economy figure of just 10.3 l/100 km and has an average CO2 output of 244g/km.
The Kuga is characterised by its bold styling. Distinctive headlights; contoured bonnet; large trapezoidal grille and twin exhausts create a powerful iconic profile that sets it apart. The pronounced wheel arches, stylish air vents and muscular shoulder line provide an energetic stance.
“The Kuga is not just a pretty face though,” says Golightly.  “Styling is a key consideration in many customers buying decision, but ultimately they require a vehicle that caters to their day-to-day activities. The versatility and practicality of the Kuga makes it an attractive option for people on the go.”
