Thieme entrepreneur of the year

Sven Thieme, executive chairman of the Ohlthaver & List Group, was selected as the Hospitality Association of Namibia’s (HAN) entrepreneur of the year at the annual HAN gala dinner held on 25 November. Gitta Paetzoldt, HAN’s CEO, said this year the choice was easy to make: “Sven Thieme and the O&L Group of Companies have not only meant a lot in the tourism industry with the Kempinksi Mokuti Lodge and Midgard Country Estate but also within Namibia as a whole. He has put this country on the international map with NBL exports, with contributions towards Legacy Hotels and NBC and so much more.  He deserves this award tenfold.” (Picture) Christie Benade, national chairperson of HAN, hands the award over to Sven Thieme, O&L executive chairman.
