Tsumkwe learners get tips on how to pass Grade 12 exams
For the first time in the history of Tsumkwe Secondary School, 18 bright and diligent learners will sit for the Grade 12 examinations this year because of the support from Maltas Club Namibia who held a three day exam preparation workshop in Tsumkwe, were close to 150 young learners took part in it this year.
Dr. Wilfred Isak April, founder of Maltas Club Namibia said the aim of the workshop was threefold, namely to help the students with the curriculum content they find challenging, especially mathematics, to advise them on how to overcome exam stress by apply unique, yet smart, specific, measurable, achievable, realist and timely learning techniques.
“Finally we want to ensure that there will be a significant improvement in the final exam results this year compared to previous years,” he explained
The Maltas Club Namibia is a non-profit organization with the sole mandate of empowering locals in leadership, character development and entrepreneurship.
The workshop was proudly supported by the FNB Holdings Foundation Trust.
