Vigilance pays off
On Wednesday 22 August 2012 FNB Namibia held their final draw in the Vow of Vigilance campaign. The campaign was launched in November 2001 with the objective of encouraging vigilance amongst staff in order to minimise losses suffered by the bank through criminal activities.Ester Kali, Head of Retail Banking at FNB Namibia elaborates: “The FNB Vow of Vigilance is an initiative by which staff members look out for and report internal and external fraud. Zero tolerance of internal and external fraud is of utmost importance to us. We value our reputation and our customer’s hard earned money and protect everyone’s interest with everything we have.” Caption: CEO of FNB Namibia Ian Leyenaar, overall winner Nolene Bok and Ester Kali, Head of FNB Retail banking. Bok’s name will be entered into the South African Vow of Vigilance 1 Million draw.
