Four MTC clients bag N$250,000 each

Mobile communications company, MTC on Tuesday held a prize handover ceremony for four lucky winners, who bagged N$250,000 each.

In the recently ended MTC SMS and Win campaign, Erastus Shilongo (Windhoek), Ndeshihafela Dumeni (Windhoek), Cecilia Maria van-niekerk (Grootfontein) and 16-year old Izandia Ndjamba (Gobabis) walked away in total with N$1 million.

The SMS & Win campaign which started on 7 April to 1 June witnessed a total of 88 winners across the country who got a share of the N$1.6 million prize money.

At the event MTC’s Chief Human Capital and Corporate affairs, Tim Ekandjo congratulated the winners before he expressed words of thanks to everyone that participated in the competition.

The recipients of the grand prize in their speeches all shared the same sentiments and vowed to use the money wisely and invest in their envisaged business projects.

Chief Commercial Officer, MTC, Alvin Korkie, also congratulated the recipients on their new found source of riches. Korkie said over the years, MTC with its campaigns has managed to give back to its loyal customers a total of N$3.6 million.

According to him, MTC next month will look at the next competition and again hopes to reward those deserving customers.

Overall the SMS & Win campaign had 8 weekly winners who walked away each with N$5000, four-mid term winners of N$50,000 and four grand prize winners of N$250,000.
