Silver Wolf Spur in Oshakati

One of Africa’s favourite family sit down restaurant groups has officially opened the first ever and only branch in the vast Northern region in its quest to continue giving its customers a “taste for life”.
Situated in the newly constructed and strategically located Maroela Mall in the heart of Ongwediva, Silver Wolf Spur is an initiative of local business couple, Amalia and Jerome Schmidt.
Maroela Mall, which comprises 44 other shops which will be opening to the public on 1 September  2012, is located just across from Bennie’s Entertainment Park.
The plush restaurant seats 200 guests, with a well-appointed smoking area and safe kiddies facilities that include an interior play station and drawing area and exterior play area with a trampoline and jungle gym.
This means parents can order something delicious to eat from the full traditional Spur menu while their children are cared for by professional childminders who are part of the 50 staff members at the Silver Wolf Spur.
Owner Amalia Schmidt explained that the friendly staff at the Silver Wolf Spur comprises mainly  young locals who have received extensive training in both South Africa and Swakopmund.
“We are inviting those who have not yet been to the Silver Wolf Spur to please come and enjoy the Spur experience. Our friendly staff is ready to receive the public and provide them with excellent service,” said Amalia who is also a former Namibian Businesswoman of the Year.
She added that plans are underway to install WI-FI at the Spur to complement the seats with plug-in points which can be used to slot in laptops, ideal for the businessman on lunch.
As of 1 August, Silver Wolf Spur also started running specials like Burger Mondays and Milkshake Manias for a different dining experience.
Silver Wolf Spur is open to the public seven days a week from 08:00 until late.
