Tranquillity set for Omba Art Gallery

Omba Art Gallery, will present an art exhibition titled ‘Tranquillity’ by Malaysian born artist, Feeza Jazri on 10 May at 18:00.

Tranquillity is Feeza’s second exhibition at Omba, and ever since relocating to Namibia a few years ago, the natural environment, flora and fauna, and wide vistas of Namibia have consistently inspired her works.

Her exhibition will contain works of a wide variety of watercolours, acrylic and oil painting in various sized under the umbrella theme ‘Tranquillity’, which expresses her interpretations visually and symbolically through a series of mono and colour landscapes, traditional villages, leaves and flowers.

Her work as an artist lies in her attention to detail, her ability to express mood via colour and symbolism as well as an underlying enthusiasm to create and replicate texture in her works. This are hints of abstract and a touch of the surrealism which emerged and was evident in the work of her first exhibition

The exhibition will run until the end of May and during the opening a draw will be held for one of her works and all her painting are for sale. She will personally attend the exhibition in the morning only.
