SADC Law Journal 2 launched

The second volume of the SADC Law Journal was launched beginning of the month at the Goethe Centre. The journal is a special edition which focuses primarily on climate change issues, with five articles on climate change. University of Namibia law lecturer, Prof. Nico Horn officially launched the publication and stated that in 2011 the Ralahus Institute of Development and Labour law conducted a conference in Cape Town and while the conference was not exclusively on global warming or climate change, the issue popped up in almost every discussion as there were already a number of papers on climate change. “Mr.Holger Heibach of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) immediately saw the need and possibilities for the journal. Having the donor on board and interested in the issue, made the rest a formality, so allow me to congratulate Prof. Kalula and his editorial board for a great publication” said Prof. Horn.
