The final leg of the Old Mutual Victory Races took place last weekend at the Jan Mohr Senior Secondary School  with athletes from different age groups pitching up, ready to compete for the winning prizes.
A total of 512 participants competed at this year’s race after Old Mutual availed N$510,000 for the series.
Speaking at the prize giving ceremony, Sakaria Nghikembua, CEO: Operations at Old Mutual said: “All our athletes can stand proud this year as we had an international professional route measurer who ensured that both the Windhoek and Swakopmund routes are officially recognised as qualifying heats for regional and other events.
“This is indeed a great value contributor to athletics in Namibia and we are proud to offer it as a useful innovation to the annual race series.”
