Culinary students to host fundraising gala dinner

Silver Spoon Hospitality Academy Students from the Food and Beverage, Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts Departments will host a local themed fundraising Gala dinner with the proceeds set to benefit a Scholarship Programme for Namibian students.

The Gala Dinner will take place on 23 March at the Silver Spoon Hospitality Academy premises, located at the Old Power station in Southern Industry.

Silver Spoon’s organising committee of students currently are appealing to corporates and the private sector to sponsor the event through purchasing table/tables to enjoy the special evening for a great cause.

On the menu will be unique Namibian flavours prepared with local ingredients by aspiring young chefs. The guest speaker at the event will be Chef Martin Kobalt, vice president of the world chefs association. According to the organisors, table booking for companies and groups will go for N$10,000.
