Hangana outperforms all other O&L subsidiaries

13 December 2016 – Hangana Seafood is the best company in the vast Ohlthaver & List empire. Hangana beat 13 other powerful contenders, including the mighty Namibia Breweries Ltd, to grab the top spot. The performance appraisal is based on the financial year ended 30 June 2016.

Hangana Managing Director, Herman Theron received the accolade from the O&L Group’s Executive Chairman, Sven Thieme at a lavish function held in the Strand Hotel in Swakopmund. The hotel is another jewel in the O&L crown. Second and third place went to Namibia Breweries Ltd and to Broll Namibia, the group’s property manager.

“The O&L Group’s annual ’12 Seasons Awards’ creates a platform to recognize its top performing companies and celebrate the achievements of the Group as a whole. The categories in which the subsidiaries are adjudicated include Financial Performance; Creating Amazing Trust Relations With Customers; Operational Excellence; Owning The Whole, and Other Significant Achievements.

Hangana consitently ranked in the top three positions in all the categories, with a number one ranking in the majority of the categories.
