The 8th Edition of the Practical Guide to Tax in Namibia was released last week to users of this leading local  tax publication.
All taxes administered by the Receiver of Revenue are comprehensively covered in the book in a practical way so that users do not have to wade through the legislation themselves.  On the occasion of the launch, Ernst &  & Young said “We have limited extracts of the legislation to the minimum.  Footnotes contain reference to the relevant section in the legislation so that those who want to refer to the actual legislation can easily find it.  All amendments to the tax law up to the end of 2011 have been incorporated in the book.”
In making this publication available to the public, Ernst & Young said they want to encourage an improved tax compliance culture in Namibia.  Taxation by its very nature is complicated.  This publication aims to simplify this complex subject matter or taxpayers in Namibia.
