Stud bulls impress despite devastating drought

Champion of Champions: The Windhoek Show hosted its 62nd Livestock Parade at the Windhoek Show earlier this week and exhibited Namibia’s crème de la crème of stud animals. The cattle parade was an impressive procession, showing the best of every breed. At the award ceremony, Standard Bank’s CEO commended the farmers for the quality of their animals given the severe impact of the drought. Pictured here are, from the left, the winning bull, Kamab Kookabura, his handler, Thomas Nghikumbwa, the CEO of Standard Bank, Mr Vetumbuavi Mungunda, and the bull’s breeder and owner, Diethelm Metzger.

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
