The bank showed its gratitude at a lavish awards ceremony which took place at the Safari Conference Centre on Saturday, 12 November.

SLE Properties won the best performer in the Central Estate Agency of the Year category; Grobbies Estate is the best performer in the Country Estate Agency of the Year category, while Jimmy Construction was selected as the best performer in the Developer of the Year category.
Speaking at the bank’s annual Estate Agent Grand Finale, Mpumzi Pupuma, managing director of Standard Bank, said the fact that the number of participating estate agents increased by 50% is a sign of their commitment to enhance the valuable relationship with the bank.
“I am glad to let you know that these participating estate agents introduced business to the value of N$ 496 million during the campaign period. You may recall that last year we aimed to achieve N$500 million,” he said.
Pupuma challenged the participating estate agents to bring new business to the value of N$1 billion for next year’s campaign period.
“Standard Bank highly values the relationship established with estate agents and trust that it will enhance to greater heights in the New Year. I would also like to encourage the home loans team to capitalise on any opportunities availabilities available in better serving our estate agents. Service should remain at the fore,” Pupuma said.
