FNB first to bolster food bank

Earlier this month, the FNB Foundation, represented by its Chairperson, Hon Clara Bohitile and accompanied by the bank’s CEO, Sarel van Zyl, visited President Hage Geingob to present him with the banks first contribution to the national food bank. The bank gave N$50,000 for the food bank.
Hon Bohitile said: “The FNB Foundation supports a number of pillars which include education, skills and literacy, sport, health, community, art and culture and of course the environment.
All of these areas of support are underpinned by the bank and the 4 P’s that the bank’s strategy is based on, people, partnerships, the planet and profit.
We are truly excited about our partnership with our government the past years.”
She reiterated that FNB Namibia is wholly committed to Namibia and its people, saying that the Foundation had pledged N$100,000 at the inauguration of the bank’s new head office for the President’s scholarship fund and another N$50,000 for the 2016 Presidential Winter Drive Charity. “Comrade President – we hope that our help will expand as we assist making Harambee a reality. At FNB Namibia we live up to the values of being helpful, ethical, effective, innovative and accountable and today’s donation shows our commitment.”
