Cancer Association of Namibia CEO, Rolf Hansen (centre middle) officially launched the 1st Annual National Cancer Walk of Namibia, titled “RadioWave & CAN Walk for Life” with key project partners in Windhoek, earlier this week. The national event will take place on 3 September in five towns, Windhoek, Rehoboth, Swakopmund, Lüderitz and Walvis Bay, simultaneously. The entry fee is N$75 per person and N$50 per learner entering under the name of a school. All walkers who complete the distance receive a medal of completion to signify their support in the fight against cancer. Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
