Standard bank welcome new staff member

Mercia Geises follows in the footsteps of Baronice Hans as Standard Bank’s new head of Personal and Business Banking. Her appointment is effective as of the beginning of this month.
The position became vacant following Hans’ appointment as the new Managing Director of Bank Windhoek. Geises is taking over from Bradwyn Beukes who has been acting in Hans’ position since January 2016. Geises reports directly to the Chief Executive, Vetumbuavi Mungunda, and is a member of the Executive team.
She has worked at Old Mutual Investment Group Namibia (OMIGNAM), first as head of alternative investments and later as CEO.
The bank, in a statement said that she brings enormous knowledge and work experience in investment management, change management, unit trust management, bank assurance, wealth management as well retail and commercial business.
