Young footballers find the net at developmental tourney

Last weekend 45 Youth Football Teams geared up and took part in the annual DTS/KIA Youth
Football Tournament at the DTS Sports Ground in Olympia.
A total of 180 Games were played in perfect weather conditions and good spirit. The tournament was set up in four categories, the U7, U9, U11 and U13, of which there were different winners, with none of the clubs dominating.
The results are as follows: U7: Power Cup sponsored by Martin Krafft: 1st Place: SKW Foxes, 2nd Place: Swallows FC and 3rd Place: DTS Lions
U9: Doc Munz Trophy sponsored byDoc Jurgen Munz: 1st Place: Swakopmund FC, 2nd Place: Ramblers A and 3rd Place: DTS A
U11: OBECO Trophy sponsored by OBECO: 1st Place: Swallows FC, 2nd Place: DTS A and 3rd Place: Swakopmund FC
U13: KIA Trophy sponsored by KIA Motors: 1st Place: Ramblers A, 2nd Place: Swallows A and
3rd Place: Ramblers C
At the event KIA Motors was once again the main sponsor for the fifth time, while Bokomo Namibia also opted as co-sponsor by contributing N$10,000 in cash for this tournament.
