Word Press Beach Volley Winter Classic next
The Word Press Namibia Winter Classic 2016, Timeout Beach Volleyball Series 2016 will take place on 25 June at the DTS Beach Arena, Olympia, Windhoek.
The categories for this tournament are as follows: 2-a-side Men, Ladies, Social, Youth Girls (U18), Youth Boy’s (U18) & 4-a-side Mixed Social (1 women on court at all times).
According to the organisers the deadline for entries is 23 June. “We are very excited to welcome Word Press Namibia as tournament sponsor and supporter of beach volleyball in Namibia. We are thankful for their support and are looking forward to working with them for this event,” said the organisers.
Word Press Namibia kindly sponsored N$6,000 in prizes which will be divided up amongst the 6 categories.
The third Timeout Beach Volleyball Series 2016 event, the Word Press Namibia Winter Classic, will see the top Namibian beach volleyball athletes taking part, including: Tropizone Aqua Kalahari Open winners; Rosi Hennes, Lizette Roettcher, Brandon de Jager and Jan Eric Sack. As well as NVF Namibian Open Ladies winners Kristin Schulz and Michaela Böhringer.
The Winter Classic will be hosted at the DTS Beach Arena, Olympia, Windhoek and the games will start in the morning, while the finals are set for 6pm.
Meanwhile, the last two Timeout Beach Volleyball Series 2016 dates are as follows; Interpack King and Queen pencilled for 17 September at DTS Beach Arena and the Fabupharm Swakop Masters set for 22 and 23 September at the Mole Beach in Swakopmund.
