Here’s to the magic of financial freedom

Baronice Hans (right), the incumbent Namibian Businesswoman of the Year hosted the Economist Businesswomen breakfast last week with Catherine Cupido, Chief Executive Officer of Mergence Investment Managers (Namibia), with an informative presentation on “Creating Shared Value.” Ms Cupido advised the ladies how to make use of investment opportunities to achieve growth and financial freedom. Be more assertive when dealing with investors and brokers, but also help each other to grow in business, she advised the audience. Following her animated talk, Baronice as hostess, presented the investment manager with a beautiful bouquet. The Economist Businesswomen Club provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and expertise, aimed at encouraging the personal development and management skills of its members, with the unfailing help of its main sponsor Telecom Namibia. About The Author

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
