Windhoek Light Ultra-marathon this weekend

The 2016 annual Windhoek Light Fish River Canyon Ultra-Marathon will take place on Saturday. This 100km and 65km race held annually in the Fish River Canyon has become a popular and much anticipated activity for long distance runners from both Namibia and countries abroad since its inception in 2011. This event is a non-stop self-supporting race which sees participants face extreme temperatures, rough terrain and poor light amongst others, while they only have 24 hours to complete the challenge.
