Shoes for charity

FNB’s staff at the Rundu branch went all-out to support the Bankers Association’s Walk Barefoot for Charity project. The FNB employees once again kicked off their shoes and lived up to their value of being wherever they can. Jaunita Slinger of FNB’s Employee Wellness department said “Shoes were collected from the numerous different FNB business units and branches. These will now be donated to selected charities during combined handover sessions of teh wellness teams of the different banks in the country. Winter is coming and we hope that our gesture will warm the hearts and feet of fellow Namibians.”

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
