FNB beefs up the scrum

Last week, FNB Namibia handed over an amount of N$200,000 each to the UNAM, Western Suburbs and Wanderers Rugby Clubs. FNB Namibia renewed its sponsorship agreement with Western Suburbs and Wanderers in 2015 for another three years but the UNAM rugby club has only been added this year of the same time period.  At the official hand-over Revonia Kahivere, CSI Manager for the FNB Group said: “We are excited about the growth in the sport of rugby in Namibia. As you know FNB Namibia supports different sports codes across Namibia and rugby has always been a part of the sport codes in the country that we wholeheartedly assist.” She wished all the clubs a season filled with great success and expressed the hope that the sponsorship by FNB Namibia would bring them closer to their goals.
